How we work

It starts with a conversation.

You may have a clear question. Or you may know that something needs to change, without yet knowing what. Tell us what is happening. We will help you explore it.

Getting to know your world.

Before we suggest an approach, we want to understand your situation. What matters to you? Who is involved? What have you already tried? We bring our experience, and stay curious about yours.

You work with Sonja and the colleagues who fit your question. We listen carefully, ask direct questions and share what we notice. There is room for disagreement, uncertainty and humour.

Working together
  1. 01

We get to know your situation.

We explore the question together, including the pressures, relationships and expectations around it. Sometimes that first conversation changes what we thought the question was.

  2. 02

    We decide what would help.

We agree what we are working towards and who needs to be involved. That might mean individual coaching, work with a team, a leadership programme or a carefully prepared conversation.

  3. 03

We bring your everyday work into the room.

We work with decisions, conversations and dilemmas you recognise. There is time to reflect and space to practise. Between sessions, you try things out where they matter.

  4. 04

We come back to what is changing.

What have you noticed? What is still difficult? We review what is useful and adjust the work together. The next step follows from what you are learning.

A person is always part of a bigger story.

We pay attention to you, the people around you and the organisation you work in. A difficult conversation may also involve unclear expectations, competing priorities or an unwritten rule. Understanding that wider picture helps us decide where to begin.

Sometimes a tool helps you see more.

A profile, team assessment or practical exercise can give you another way to look at what is happening. We explain what it can add and discuss the findings together.
